Celeb Secrets Predicts 2017 Kids Choice Awards – Television Categories

Happy Friday, readers!

As the weather gets warmer, one of our favorite awards shows arrives–the 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards (KCA). The KCAs is a Celeb Secrets favorite because what other award show allows celebrities and audience members alike to be dunked with neon green slime?

With the KCAs quickly creeping upon us, Celeb Secrets is giving you our exclusive look at our predictions for who in television will make it onto this years’ winner’s list. Therefore, we predicted the television winners from the following categories: Favorite TV Show – Kids, Favorite TV Show – Family, Favorite Reality TV Show, Favorite Cartoon, Favorite Male TV Star, and Favorite Female TV Star.

Hosted by John Cena, he’s fully prepared to “crush”  his turn as host. Since voting is still open, make sure to get your votes in fast to see your favorite stars win on the big night.

FAVORITE TV SHOW – KIDS: “Game Shakers”,  “Girl Meets World”, “Henry Danger”, “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn”, “The Thundermans”

WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: Since “Girl Meets World” is leaving Disney Channel for good, we believe this is the perfect occasion to award the popular reboot. Plus, what better way to send off the show then with a shiny orange blimp?

FAVORITE TV SHOW – FAMILY: “Big Bang Theory”, “Black-ish”, “Fuller House”, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”, “Supergirl”, “The Flash”

WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: After claiming a People’s Choice Award earlier this year, we believe “Fuller House” has this category in the bag. Since the show manages to capture what made the original series magical in a modern light, it deserves a win in our book.

FAVORITE REALITY TV SHOW: “America’s Funniest Home Videos”, “America’s Got Talent”, “American Ninja Warrior”, “Paradise Run”, “Shark Tank”, “The Voice”

WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: You got to admit it, “America’s Got Talent” had a pretty great season last year. As the adorably talented Grace Vanderwaal took center stage and won the entire competition, it reminded the world of how great this show can truly be.

FAVORITE CARTOON: “ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks”, “SpongeBob SquarePants”, “Teen Titans Go!”, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, “The Amazing World of Gumball”, “The Loud House”

WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: It’s impossible to deny how tight the cartoon category is this year. However, “SpongeBob SquarePants” has repeatedly managed to come out as the reigning champ in this category since 2009. Therefore, this veteran winner will most likely stand undefeated once again.

FAVORITE MALE TV STAR: Benjamin Flores Jr. (“Game Shakers”), Aidan Gallagher (“Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn”), Jack Griffo (“The Thundermans”), Jace Norman (“Henry Danger”), Casey Simpson (“Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn”), Tyrel Jackson Williams (“Lab Rats”)

WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: Although this category could go either way, we believe that Jace Norman–a previous KCA nominee–has a good shot at winning this year. However, his fellow nominated Nickelodeon colleagues from “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn” may sneak up on him.

FAVORITE FEMALE TV STAR: Rowan Blanchard (“Girl Meets World”), Dove Cameron (“Liv and Maddie”), Lizzy Greene (“Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn”), Kira Kosarin (“The Thundermans”), Breanna Yde (“School of Rock”), Zendaya (“K.C. Undercover”)

WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: With Disney Channel fan-favorite “Girl Meets World” coming to an end after it’s third season, it would be inappropriate to not give Rowan Blanchard a proper send off. We expect her to end the night with an orange blimp in her hands.
