The winners for the 2021 Latin American Music Awards are rolling in!
The best in Latin music were given shiny new hardware for the sixth annual award show, which was packed with stars, surprises and more from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL on Thursday (April 15). The 2021 Latin AMAs were hosted by Jacqueline Bracamontes and featured epic performances by Alaina Castillo, Alejandro Fernández, Ana Bárbara, Anitta, Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga, Cami, Camilo, Carlos Rivera, Carlos Vives, Carrie Underwood, David Bisbal, El Alfa, Eslabon Armado, Gerardo Ortiz, IAmChino, José Luis Rodríguez “El Puma”, Joss Favela, Juanes, Juhn, Karol G, Lenier, Los Dos Carnales, Maluma, Manuel Turizo, Mariah Angeliq, Myke Towers, Natanael Cano, Nicky Jam, Omar Courtz Piso 21, Ozuna, Pitbull, Ricky Martin, Sofía Reyes, Wisin, Yandel, Yendry and Ziggy Marley.
2021 Latin AMAs: Complete Coverage
Tonight was definitely Bad Bunny‘s night, as the Puerto Rican rapper won five awards, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for YHLQMDLG and Favorite Male Artist. For the ladies, Karol G and Nicki Minaj took home three awards each for their global hit “Tusa,” including the highly-coveted Song of the Year.
In addition, Ozuna received the Extraordinary Evolution Award, Alejandro Fernández received the Icon Award and Luis Rodríguez “El Puma” was honored with the Legend Award. You can see our recap of all the best moments from the night here.
