Let’s go back in time to 1984 when trailblazer Barbra Streisand, broke barriers in Hollywood and became the first female to win “Best Director” for the musical Yentl. In fact, to this day, Streisand remains the only woman to ever hold this title.
“I’m very proud because it also represents, I hope, new opportunities for so many talented women to try to make their dreams become realities, as I did,” says the talented actress and director.
