Move over, old Hollywood — there’s a new starlet in town, and she brought a little Texas twang with her.
Dressed in a jaw-dropping look that perfectly bridged her signature aesthetic, Tiffany Stringer looked every bit the Hollywood screen queen when she made her American Music Awards debut on Monday (May 25) in Las Vegas. Yet, as the flashing cameras went wild and fans screamed her name, the rising pop star couldn’t help but feel a profound sense of whiplash.
“It’s fun. It’s very electric,” Tiffany exclusively told Celeb Secrets host Juliet Schroder on the carpet, flashing that radiant, down-home smile. “When I walked in, they all screamed, and I was like Whoa. I’m standing on the carpet like, ‘Okay, act natural, act natural.’ I’m learning, I’m learning. It’s my first one!”

It may have been her first major red carpet, but it certainly won’t be her last. The moment marks a massive, full-circle milestone for long-time fans who remember Tiffany from her early independent singing and acting days. And now, after a decade of grinding in the industry, 2026 is officially her year. Following a massive announcement in January that she signed with Atlantic Records, she dropped her highly anticipated major-label debut EP, The Lone Starlet, on Friday, May 8.
The transition from independent darling to major-label powerhouse is a whirlwind Tiffany is intentionally trying to process. “I actually kinda had to take a beat the other day because, like, this time last year I think… yeah, I was still waitressing,” she admitted to us, reflecting on her sudden rise. “I’m like, ‘Wait, so much has happened,’ and I’m just trying to make sure to soak up every moment and really be grounded and appreciating it.”

For Tiffany, the journey to The Lone Starlet is deeply personal, chronicling her real-life move from Texas to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams. It’s a path that has required equal parts southern grit and big-city ambition.
“I always feel like I’m this dichotomy between back home and out in LA,” she explained to Celeb Secrets. “My EP now follows a narrative of a girl coming out to LA… I’ve been out here, but I feel like I’m really soaking in being in the city of dreams, you know?”
That narrative comes alive beautifully across the project’s tracklist. Recorded at the historic Valentine Recording Studios in North Hollywood, Tiffany leaned heavily into a cinematic, “Golden Age” soundscape. Drawing inspiration from timeless film classics like High Noon and Singin’ in the Rain, the EP is an orchestral-pop masterpiece that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern, earning major industry co-signs from superstars like Halsey, Tate McRae, Addison Rae, and Dove Cameron.
To celebrate the release, Tiffany took her cinematic vision literally, hosting a series of “World Premiere” fan event screenings and live performances in legendary independent cinemas across America. Fans packed out the Los Feliz 3 Theatre in Los Angeles, the Angelika Film Center in Dallas, and NYC’s historic Angelika Film Center to watch the EP’s unfolding visual narrative, directed by Josh Nesmith and Logan Rice.

Long-time fans who fell in love with her 2025 breakthrough EP The Texas Primadonna — which saw its title track surpass 1 million streams — know that Tiffany’s superpower is her deeply relatable, unapologetic songwriting. Her new singles prove she’s only gotten sharper.
Take her viral breakout anthem “Bullet,” which details a literal psychic premonition.
“In the narrative, ‘Bullet’ is the name of the western the EP’s protagonist stars in,” Tiffany shared. “In a dream, I was talking to my ex-boyfriend, and he said he was getting married. I woke up the next morning, checked Instagram, and saw he had actually gotten married! One of my friends said, ‘You dodged a bullet, girl’. I took all of the heavy emotion and alchemized it into a song.”
Then there is the show-stopping single “Damn Good Actress,” produced by industry heavyweights Sammy Witte (Harry Styles, Halsey) and Jack Riley. The track opens with an opulent intro fitting for an old Hollywood premiere, but quickly strips down to reveal the painful “masks” we wear to hide our true feelings.
“This is when The Lone Starlet shows up to the premiere of her film,” Tiffany revealed. “During a big moment like this, you might act like, ‘I don’t give a f**k’. Behind closed doors, you might actually be having a moment of real sadness. We all have different faces we put on for people… I tried to show the truth.”
The emotional heartbeat of the EP culminates in the focus track “Supernova,” a stunningly ethereal song about the vulnerability of falling in love. It highlights the exact duality Tiffany navigates daily: “On stage, I get to be larger-than-life,” she noted beautifully. “When I come home and take my makeup off, I’m a little more of just Tiffany.”

Having officially passed her 10-year LA anniversary last August, Tiffany isn’t just looking to make catchy pop hooks. She is crafting music that heals, comforts, and connects.
When asked what she wants listeners to truly take away from this monumental new creative chapter, her answer perfectly captured the pure, empathetic heart of a true Texas sweetheart:
“It’s less about them understanding something about me, but I would hope that the things that I’m creating could hopefully reflect back something in themselves that they love and resonate with,” Tiffany mused. “Whether they like it or hate it, we’re all a mirror to each other. I just hope my music can reach them, and they can find something else about themselves.”
As for what’s next? The Lone Starlet may have just arrived, but Tiffany’s creative engine isn’t slowing down anytime soon. She exclusively revealed to Celeb Secrets that she is already back in the studio: “I’m already starting to work on new music, which I’m really excited about, so it’ll be fun.”
The curtain may have just gone up on her major label career, but the 28-year-old is a leading lady who is here to stay.
