Due to recent knee surgery, Drake has decided to delay the release of his next studio album Certified Lover Boy.
Earlier last week, the “Hotline Bling” rapper took to his Instagram story to share that although he’s been “feeling great” and is back on his feet, he wants to focus all of his energy on his recovery.
Although he didn’t give an exact release date for Certified Lover Boy, Drake did say that he’s “looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.”
Drake first dropped hints that he was working on his forthcoming album back in August after he dropped the lead single “Laugh Now Cry Later” featuring Lil Dirk. Then on his 34th birthday (October 24), he posted a minute-long trailer for the album, which revealed a January release date.
‘Certified Lover Boy’ will be the Canadian rapper’s sixth studio album and will follow the release of his 2018 release, ‘Scorpion.’
