Aaron Judge Launches Home Run Number 60 in Yankees Come-From-Behind Win

During a game in which the New York Yankees were struggling against one of the worst teams in baseball, the Pittsburgh Pirates, superstar outfielder Aaron Judge launched his 60th home run of the season, tying a record set by arguably the greatest player in the history of the game, Babe Ruth.

The Yankees would get some inspiration from Judge’s greatness as they would come back and win on a home run by another superstar outfielder, Giancarlo Stanton.

Judge’s historic season again reaches another milestone as his 2022 season is going toe to toe with all of the best individual baseball seasons in Yankees history and baseball history. Judge and the Yankees are each in a critical position as Judge is set to become a free agent as soon as the season finishes, and with the two sides not agreeing to a contract before this season, there has been much speculation leaning towards this possibly being Judge’s final season in pinstripes.

However, it will be exciting to see whether this historic surge Judge is on will inspire the Yankees to offer him the contract he wants. It very much feels as if Judge is in a win-win situation no matter what, and the Yankees are the ones that are in a win-lose position.

This game in which Judge knocked out goner number 60 was also an excellent game for the rest of the team as the Yankees walked it off after the Pirates took an 8 to 5 lead in the top of the eighth inning; the Yankees still somehow managed to pull off a victory with the final game-winning swing coming from former Marlins MVP Giancarlo Stanton.

Now we will wait and see if Judge can carry his dominant regular season into postseason play as it is quickly approaching.
