Bachelorette alum, Joshua Tylerbest, has been arrested in Florida for numerous counts of child pornography.
Tylerbest, who participated in Katie Thurston’s season of the ABC reality dating series in 2021, was accused last month in Miami with possessing child pornography and has since been charged.
According to the arrest affidavit, his Google account was the subject of a search order after 50 child sex abuse images and videos were posted to it. Authorities reportedly discovered proof that the former reality show contestant had also interacted with images.
Along with the Google account, police raided Tylerbest’s home and seized several electronic devices, including his iPhone, which they claim held 15 files that they determined to be child pornography featuring some children as young as 10.
Essentially, he was charged with 15 felonies for having materials that depicted a minor performing sex acts; however, he has pleaded not guilty and was freed after posting a $5,000 bond.
His next court date is scheduled for June 7.
The IT consultant was eliminated during week 4 of Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette who went on to get engaged to Blake Moynes. While Moynes and Thurston have since split, she remained close friends with many of the contestants from her season and has yet to make a statement on the arrest.
