British Author Dolly Alderton is a writer, host, podcaster, author — and now she’s added Executive Producer to her list of titles.
Her 2018 bestselling memoir, Everything I Know About Love, is airing on Peacock on August 25.
“To the first Friday night, in our first London house,” Birdy (Bel Powley “The Morning Show”) says as she and her roommates, Maggie (Emma Appleton “Pistol”), Amara (Aliyah Odoffin) and Nell (Marli Siu “Alex Rider”), toast their drinks in the first trailer of the series.

It’s “a raucous girl gang show” about friendship, love, heartbreak and everything in between. Think Sex and The City but the girls are in their early twenties, navigating their first years of adulthood in London.
“Nothing is going to change Maggie,” Birdy assures her friend.
To which Maggie responds, “that’s the only thing people say when everything’s changing.”

The central love story is between best friends Maggie and Birdy. As Birdy gets a boyfriend, the two friends start to realize their relationship is changing, and not everyone is happy about it.
“You have always been my most important person,” Maggie shares with Birdy.
A tearful Birdy responds, “I don’t know if we should be that to each other anymore.”
“The series is an unflinching deep dive into bad dates, heartaches and humiliations and begs the question: can platonic love survive romantic love as we grow up?” Peacock describes.

This isn’t the first time the show has hit television screens. It was first released on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on June 7.
“It’s got my whole entire heart in it and I cannot wait for you to meet these four girls,” Alderton shared on twitter before it hit the big screen last month.
Rounding out the cast includes Connor Finch (“Professor T”), Jordan Peters (“Gangs of London”) and Ryan Bown (“A Beautiful Request”) with China Moo-Young (“Pennyworth”) and Julia Ford (“Grace”) directing.
