Queen Bey has made her return!
That’s right, Beyoncé has officially dropped her long-awaited album Renaissance.
The 16-track album was released at midnight today (July 29) and to no surprise, quickly topped the charts.
Moments after her new project dropped, the Grammy Award-winning songstress shared a post on Instagram in a stunning silver dress. She included a letter where she thanked the fans and showed her appreciation for their love and support.
The “Break My Soul” singer even addressed her album being leaked, “So, the album leaked and you all actually waited until the proper release time so you can all enjoy it together. I’ve never seen anything like it. I can’t thank y’all enough for your love and protection.”

The Beyhive enjoyed listening to it together, as they shared their excitement and favorite songs on social media. The album is made for dancing, with all 16 tracks having upbeat and groovy sounds. From “I’m That Girl” to “Summer Renaissance,” this album will give you the happiness and joy to dance and sing from start to finish.

It was truly a special day for the Beyhive, as the 40-year-old surprised her fans once again by dropping official merchandise for the album. The merch included hoodies, T-shirts, durags, gloves, and more. Fans can access this merch for one week only on Beyoncé’s official website.
The release of Renaissance marks the singer’s first project in six years. Her last full-length solo project was the release of Lemonade. Fans will hopefully not wait long until the next project is released after the singer revealed on her website that this album is act 1 of 3.
Beyonce shared, “This three-act project was recorded over three years. During the pandemic. A time to be still, but also a time I found to be most creative.”
She then went on to thank her family and those who helped her make the album. The singer ended with thanks to the fans as she shared, “I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and as sexy as you are.”
