Just like everyone else, the holidays are our favorite time of the year. You get to spend time with family, participate in festive activities, and give special gifts to the people who matter most in your life.
This season, we kicked it off in the best way possible thanks to our friend Bianca Ryan. The 23-year-old is currently starring in Home For The Holidays on Broadway and invited us to the August Wilson Theater in New York City to check out the show!
Home For The Holidays features three of the most talented singers in the reality singing competition show era — The Voice‘s Josh Kaufman, American Idol’s Candice Glover, and America’s Got Talent’s Bianca Ryan — singing the greatest Christmas songs of all time. Hosted by The Bachelorette‘s Kaitlyn Bristowe, the show also features appearances from acclaimed actor and singer Danny Aiello and a capella couple Peter Hollens and Evynne Hollens, who share their memories of the holidays and how they perceive the true meaning of Christmas.
Backed by a live 9-piece rhythm and brass band, the 90-minute presentation showcases Kaufman, Glover, and Ryan’s powerful voices as they sing songs like “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” “Do You Hear What I Hear?,” “The First Noel,” “Joy To The World,” “Little Drummer Boy,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “O Holy Night,” and “Silver Bells.” It’s a great (an affordable) alternative to the other holiday-themed shows around town as well as fun evening for the entire family. The performances will truly put a smile on your face as you sing and clap along to each holiday tune.
After the show, we met up with Bianca to chat about her experience on Broadway, her favorite moments from Home For The Holidays, and how she’s grown as a singer from the first show until now. You can watch the full interview below for more…
