Buffalo has now won back-to-back games and improved to 8-3 on the year; as for the Lions, this was a tough loss that ended a three-game winning streak to fall to 4-7.
Both quarterbacks were solid in this one as Josh Allen finished with 253 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception, while Jared Goff threw for 240 yards and two touchdowns; something that made Allen standout in this one was his running ability as he finished with a touchdown on the ground to go along with 78 yards on ten rush attempts.
There were also some standout performances by multiple wide receivers in this game as Isaiah McKenzie finished as the Bills leading wideout, finishing with six catches for 96 yards and a touchdown, while Amon-Ra St. Brown led the way for Detroit in the receiving department as he caught a touchdown to go along with nine receptions for 122 yards. The two other touchdown catches in the game went to Stefon Diggs of the Bills and D.J. Chark of the Lions.
In the running game, Jamaal Williams continued his touchdown tear as he remains the touchdown leader in the NFL with fourteen, finishing with 66 yards on eighteen attempts to go along with the touchdown.
On the defensive side of the ball, Bills safety Jordan Poyer led all players with ten tackles, and not far behind was Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone with nine tackles; Anzalone had a tremendous performance as he added an interception and a deflected pass to go along with his nine tackles.
Although Buffalo won the game, they did suffer a massive loss as all-pro pass rusher Von Miller sustained a knee injury that will keep him out indefinitely with no scheduled date of return as of yet; Miller had made such an immediate impact in his first season with the Bills, especially on second-year pash rusher Greg Rousseau who lines up on the opposite side of him.
As he continues to gather medical opinions about his knee injury, Von Miller is not expected to make any decisions about the best way to proceed with his knee injury for another week to two, per sources. The injury is on the same knee in which he tore his ACL in 2013. https://t.co/cU7Aqu0JyW

It will be a harsh void for the Bills to fill, but with their track record of success over the last couple of years, Buffalo may be able to continue to play well and weather the storm without Miller.
The Bills will look to add another win on Thursday Night Football against the Patriots in an AFC East week thirteen division battle.
The Lions will look to bounce back in week thirteen at home against the Jaguars.
