Blue Ivy Carter Wins Her Very First Grammy at 2021 Grammy Awards

Just when you thought the Knowles-Carter family couldn’t get more iconic, Blue Ivy Carter goes on and gets her first-ever Grammy!

Just before the main show for the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, the Recording Academy held a Premiere Ceremony of the award show live on YouTube. The show revealed the winners of the categories that weren’t going to be mentioned in the main show.

Among the categories was “Best Music Video,” in which BeyoncéBlue Ivy, & Wizkid took home the award for “Brown Skin Girl! The video beat out fellow nominees, Harry StylesFuture with DrakeAnderson .Paak, and Woodkid.

Nine-year-old, Blue Ivy, is the second youngest artist to ever receive a Grammy award. Leah Peasall currently holds the record for the youngest artist, receiving her award at the age of eight back in 2001!

Could this be the first step to the young daughter following her legendary and iconic parents’ footsteps? We hope it is! We just know that this family is destined to be legendary and break all the records. Beyoncé also achieved the record for most Grammy awards received in history last night.
