Bretman Rock will be getting a change of scenery this summer!
The influencer will be starring in the new YouTube Originals series titled 30 Days With: Bretman Rock. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rock will try to survive in the depths of the Hawaiian jungle alone for a week. In dedication to his late father, he will embark on solo adventures throughout the four-part series. The show will include a survival skills specialist and family from his inner circle.
The social media star, who was born in the Philippines and raised in Hawaii, has been having an incredible year so far. In February, he starred in his own online reality show called MTV’s Following: Bretman Rock. Every episode combined reached an estimated total of 28.6 million views.
Back in May, Rock took home a golden popcorn for winning the “Breakthrough Social Star” award at the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted.
30 Days With has been on YouTube for quite some time now. Some stars that have been featured on the show include boy band Why Don’t We and professional boxer Ryan Garcia. The show is expected to highlight more celebrities in the near future.
Rock recently announced that he is one of the faces of Nike’s Be True campaign in honor of Pride Month. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, he said it is “truly such an honor to be seen and heard from Nike.” The campaign launched globally yesterday (June 15).
