BTS is ready to melt your heart! On Monday, the global group’s label, Big Hit, shared two new teaser clips for their upcoming English single, “Butter.”
The first teaser clip is of Jungkook, which starts off with a close-up of a piece of toast that has a heart-shaped blob of butter on it before it cuts into different clips of the youngest member dancing around and having cute stare-offs with the camera.
Leader RM is in the second concept teaser sporting his platinum blonde hair and an all-black fit, which includes a long trench coat and some stylish loafers as he shows off some moves and pops a confetti cannon in the midst of it.
Both of the clips are playing a loop of an upbeat tune, that we can only hope is the beat of the new track, and share the same iridescent lighting and editing–giving off the vibes of a soon-to-be summer hit.
The Grammy-nominated group also recently shared a 60-minute video that featured an animation of the same cube of butter that progressively melts to reveal the release date of the single. The video has already garnered nearly 15-million views, a true testament to their powerful ARMY fanbase.
On top of these concept clips and the hour-long ASMR video, BTS will continue to release other concept videos and photos before the release of “Butter” on May 21, which the group described as “a dance-pop track brimming with the smooth yet charismatic charm of BTS.”
“Butter” is the group’s second English-language song and follows the success of their 2020 release “Dynamite.”
