It’s been quite some time since Celeb Secrets last sat down with BUNK’D’s Will Buie Jr – about three years to be exact — and although a lot has changed since then, many things have stayed the same.
Buie Jr. and the rest of Camp Kikiwaka are back for season 5 of BUNK’D which premiered earlier this year. All the campers and counselors have not only been seeking new adventures in the new episodes but have grown up and learned new things about themselves.
“You’ll be able to see Finn maturing a lot,” Buie Jr. shared regarding his character in the new season. “In real life, he has gotten a lot taller but he’s also matured and really has grown up as a person. He’s really sweet but he still has his very funny moments, like always.”
Along with the new episodes, Buie Jr. and the rest of the BUNK’D cast also welcomed a new cast member, Trevor Tordjman, and it seems like he’s been settling in quite nicely.
“I love working with Trevor. He’s so nice and so funny,” Buie Jr. said. “All of us get along so well. He also really likes cars almost as much as I do.”
As far as Buie Jr. giving Tordjman advice when he first started on set, Buie Jr. reassured that the entire cast is more than happy to help one another whenever it’s needed.
“We all help each other out, we all pick each other back up and if we ever need advice, we talk to each other,” he shared, “We’re all one big, happy family.”
Along with his love for his BUNK’D family, Buie Jr. is also really passionate about cars and most recently started getting into fashion. As a matter of fact, he started working with his stylist, Enrique Melendez to, to create looks for his photoshoots and all-around started curating his new sense of style.
“I wore some Saint Laurent for my most recent fashion shoot and I love all of the… I don’t even know how to describe [it]. It’s just very angular and professional, I love that look, it was very intense,” Buie Jr. shared when asked about his favorite fashion style.

This week, Bunk’d will mark a big milestone as the show will be hitting 100 episodes this Thursday, June 3rd. In the episode titled, “Gi Whiz,” Finn (Buie Jr) and Destiny (Mallory James Mahoney) look for a way to leave their mark on the camp; while meeting Matteo’s mother, Lou (Miranda May) and Noah (Israel Johnson) discover that he has a surprising skill.
The notable episode will air during a special summer kick-off week featuring a new installment of the series on each night of the week that started yesterday (May 31) and run through this Friday (June 4). The episode will air at 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.
BUNK‘D originally premiered July 31, 2015, as a spin-off of the hit comedy series Jessie (2011-2015) and is currently in its fifth season. The series revolves around the hilarious adventures of the campers and counselors at Maine’s rustic Camp Kikiwaka. In 2021, it remains a top 10 live-action cable series with kids 6-11 (#9) and top 5 with girls 6-11 (#5).
