A former highly-followed couple has seemed to rekindle their romance as “Havana” singer Camila Cabello and “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile” star Shawn Mendes were spotted participating in some PDA at the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Cabello and Mendes began dating in the summer of 2019 and broke up a little over two years later in late-2021. Many speculated that these two were in a PR relationship throughout their time as a couple, meaning they were just acting for publicity rather than being a real couple. With that said, many stans of Cabello and Mendes are still out there and are ecstatic to see the pair reunite. Aside from their relationship, the two collaborated on multiple hit songs throughout their time together, including “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and “Señorita.”
Moments after being recorded kissing at Coachella, a fan asked Cabello whether the two were back together, and she responded by confirming the two have rekindled their old fling.

As for each of these talented artists individually, Mendes has been in the news lately for his dating life, including being spotted with “Nonsense” singer Sabrina Carpenter and his trainer, Dr. Jocelyn Miranda; Mendes has pretty much put his music career on the back burner for the time being which is surprising due to the tremendous talent he has for that craft.
As for Cabello, there hasn’t been much going on in her music career, but she has been spotted by fans in her hometown of Miami. Cabello, like Mendes, recently made her acting debut in a musical version of the classic fairytale Cinderella.

All in all, it will be interesting to see if this meetup was solely for publicity reasons or if these two lovebirds are indeed back together.
