Cardi B dropped the biggest bombshell during the 2021 BET Awards on Sunday night — she’s expecting another child with Offset!
Moments into Migos’ ensemble performance, Cardi B struts on stage, showing off her baby bump in style. A wide shot features the artist in a glowing bedazzled Dolce & Gabbana one piece. The stylish announcement did not end there; After their rendition of “Straightenin”/”Type S***,” the expecting mother took to Instagram to post the happy news.

Cardi was nominated for five awards: Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, Best Collaboration (“WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion), Viewer’s Choice Award (“WAP” again) and Video of the Year, twice (for both “WAP” and “Up”). Migos was also nominated for “Best Group.”

This will be “WAP” rapper’s second child with the Migos member, as their current daughter Kulture Kiari will be turning 3 in July.
The couple secretly wed in September of 2017, but announced separation four months after Kulture’s birth. The couple has reunited and split again since then; they filed for divorce last fall, but have since reconciled and will be co-parenting together later this year.
It’s also not the first time Cardi took to live television to announce she was expecting. Kulture Kiari’s reveal was unveiled in 2018 during a Saturday Night Live performance, so it looks like this is tradition for the Grammy Award-winning rapper.
