CelebSecrets4U is back with Part Two of our exclusive Q&A with So Random! star Matthew Scott Montgomery. Check out MSM’s answers below.
CelebSecrets4U: What’s it like taping in front of a live audience?
MSM: “Taping in front of a live audience is a total blast. It’s like a happy medium between theatre and film work because there are cameras, lights, and blocking, but you can the immediate reaction from the crowd like you would seeing live theatre. Live audience nights are my favorite nights of the week because of all the energy the audience brings, and also, after the show, you get to interact with your fans which is definitely one of my favorite parts too!”
CelebSecrets4U: What has been your favorite sketch to participate in so far?
MSM: “We just shot our Halloween special, and if anyone knows me at all, they know i love Halloween. So that week i was skipping around set like a kid in a candy store. We shot a “Rufus” sketch in front of a live audience that week, and it’s the first time that I ever started laughing during a scene. I’m really good about keeping a straight face, but we were all so giddy that night and Rufus reaches a new level of insanity that I couldn’t help but burst into laughter. The audience laughed really hard too, and we had to take a break for a couple of minutes because everyone – the crew, audience, and all of us on stage – totally lost it.”
On this week’s So Random!, the musical guest is Dave Days! Aside from Dave Days performing his hit song “What Does It Take,” magical students Harry Potter, Gollum and the Twilight Trio are contestants on “Wheel of Fortune Magic;” ice heels are the new fashion trend in “Styling with Ice;” cuddly kittens show their dark sides in “Vampire Kittens;” and in “Chilly Slab Ice Cream” employees at Chilly Slab Ice Creamery sing their thanks for tips.
Make sure you tune in to an all new episode of “So Random!” airing SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 (7:30-8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
