Chicago Bulls Waive 2018 All-Star Point Guard Goran Dragic

The Chicago Bulls have decided to part ways with veteran point guard Goran Dragic.

Dragic will now have the opportunity of joining a title-contending team before the playoffs begin.

Dragic signed a one-year contract with the Bulls in the offseason after spending last season with the Toronto Raptors and the Brooklyn Nets. Before last season, Dragic spent seven incredible years with the Miami Heat, including earning his first all-star game appearance in 2018, being a captain alongside Heat legend Udonis Haslem and becoming an Eastern Conference Champion in 2020.

Dragic is a knowledgeable player filled with positive on-court characteristics such as being a great scorer and knowing how to time passes perfectly. Dragic also makes a significant impact off the court, as he is beloved by teammates, coaches, and other members of the organizations he has been a part of.

Currently, the teams most linked to Dragic are the Milwaukee Bucks, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, and Miami Heat.

If Dragic joins the Bucks, he will be reunited with his former teammates from the 2020 Miami Heat Eastern Conference Championship team in, Jae Crowder and Meyers Leonard.

As for a potential signing with the Suns, Dragic was drafted by Phoenix in 2008, so he would return to his original team for the third time in his career; something else is that Dragic played alongside the newly-acquired Kevin Durant a season ago in Brooklyn.

As for Dallas, Dragic has an extraordinary friendship with fellow Slovenian baller Luka Doncic and has a playing history with Kyrie Irving dating back to last year.

As for a reunion in Miami, Dragic played the best basketball of his career in a Heat uniform and is beloved by the organization, the coaches, the players, and the fans of the Miami Heat.

All in all, whichever team lands Goran Dragic will be hitting the jackpot, as he is the ultimate professional on and off the court.
