The countdown to Air + Style Los Angeles has officially begun!
With only a few hours left until the athletes take on a 16 story big air jump at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, CS4U is giving you the breakdown on what you can expect from the world’s best as they battle it out for a spot on the podium in select Ski and Snowboard disciplines.
Today, we are sharing our thoughts on who will win the first ever ski category at Air + Style. Check it out below!
1st Place- Vincent Gagnier– Coming off an incredible win at X Games Aspen a few weeks ago, Vincent Gagnier has what it takes to win at all at Air + Style Los Angeles this year. If the 21-year-old can solidly land a spinning 1260, double bio, double genie and an octo-grab like he did at X Games Aspen, there’s no way Gagnier wouldn’t be in that first place podium slot.
2nd place- Bobby Brown– When you think of Ski Big Air, you think of Bobby Brown. The 23-year-old has been consistent with landing incredible runs these past few weeks — resulting in a silver medal at X Games Aspen 2015. If Bobby keeps the same strategy that he did at X Games Aspen, just like Gagnier, we’ll definitely be seeing him on the podium for second place.
3rd place- Joss Christensen– Joss is our wild card choice for third place at Air + Style Los Angeles. Just like Vincent and Bobby, Joss ended X Games Aspen on a high note with a silver medal in Men’s Slopestyle. CS4U hasn’t seen Joss compete in Big Air yet, but the 23-year-old never disappoints when it comes to his final runs. We have faith that Joss will be coming in at third place on the podium at Air + Style Los Angeles.
