Grammy Award winning artist Drake is teaming up with Future and hitting the road together on their Summer Sixteen Tour.
The “What a Time to Be Alive” duo announced they will be traveling the U.S. and Canada visiting over 30 cities. The tour, named after a track on Drake’s upcoming album, Views From the 6, kicks off July 20th in Austin, Texas and finishes up September 17th in Vancouver. This isn’t the first time Drake and Future toured together, they previously teamed up for the Would You Like a Tour back in 2013.
Drake’s highly anticiapted new album, Views From the 6, is set to drop Friday, April 29th. The album features the multi-platinum certified single “Hotline Bling”, which hit No. 2 on the the Billboard Hot 100 chart and #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs and Billboard Rhythmic charts.
The Canadian rapper, recently released “Summer Sixteen,” “Pop Style,” and “One Dance,” all singles off the new album. These too are quickly climbing charts! “One Dance”, which features Wix Kid and Kyle, is currently holding the No. 1 spot for the third consecutive week.
Late Sunday night, Drake took to Instagram revealing the album cover for Views From the 6. The artwork features a wide shot of the singer on top of Torono’s CN Tower.
