After a three-year hiatus, Mischa Barton is returning to television!
The actress will be guest starring on the beloved Australian series Neighbours.

Barton last graced our screens in the horror/comedy film Spree as London Sachs. The former teen drama star will play the role of Reece on Neighbours, who an Erinsborough newcomer who is not whom she appears to be. The description of her character makes this news even more exciting.
Neighbours is a top-rated soap-style show in Australia that will be launching its 38th season after initially ending in September 2022; News was announced just months later in November that production would restart on the show, and it will now be broadcasted on Amazon Freevee after being broadcast on 10 Peach from 2011-2022. The excellent news for American fans of Barton is that since the show moved to Freevee, it will be easily accessible to stream in the United States.

To go back to Barton’s career, she is mainly known for her role as the iconic Marissa Cooper in the CW hit The O.C.; aside from that, Barton was in significant films as a child, such as Notting Hill and The Sixth Sense. Barton also had a memorable role in the Happy Madison classic Grown Ups 2 as a dance teacher and wife to WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin.
All in all, it is fascinating news to see Barton return to her acting roots after a brief hiatus from the acting scene.
