FX and Hulu dropped the official trailer for the American Horror Story spin-off show, American Horror Stories.
In the trailer, we see all sorts of frightening images, including familiar characters from previous seasons of AHS. Among those images feature a vicious Santa Claus and demonic looking creatures. As the trailer concludes, the phrase, “Fear takes new form,” appears on the screen. Every week, the anthology series will share a different horror story across a total of 7 episodes.
Earlier this week, the series took to social media to post a video featuring the names of cast members in the show. The stacked cast includes Matt Bomer, Gavin Creel, Sierra McCormick, Ashley Martin Carter, Paris Jackson, Belissa Escobedo, Kaia Gerber, Aaron Tveit, Rhenzy Feliz, Madison Bailey, Kyle Red Silverstein, Amy Grabow, John Carroll Lynch, Naomi Grossman, Dyllon Burnside, Nico Greetham, Charles Melton, Kevin McHale, Danny Trejo, Billie Lourd, and Virginia Gardner.
Ryan Murphy, creator of the AHS universe, tweeted about the trailer on Thursday (July 8). He said, “Your summer of horror starts here. Watch the OFFICIAL TRAILER for American Horror Stories now. The new anthology series premieres July 15, exclusively on #FXonHulu.#AmericanHorrorSummer.”
