Depending on how you look at it, Sydney and Glen may or may not be a hidden item, according to folks online. Some fans even believe the glances they gave each other when they both showed up at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Monday night (April 24) to unveil the first footage from their upcoming movie Anyone But You are quite telling.
The duo appeared with a lot of banter as Sweeney announced that the movie had only finished production “hours ago in Sydney, Australia,” but she and Powell still wanted to be present for the convention’s premiere to the movie-theater industry.
Powell jokingly said, “We love seeing ourselves on the big screen,” to which Sweeney responded, “Oh, please, Top Gun,” a reference to Powell’s role in the large-budget movie Top Gun: Maverick from the previous year, in which he costarred with Tom Cruise and Miles Teller.
“I love when she calls me that,” he quipped.

“Anyway, as you could probably guess, this movie’s about two people that hate each other. Sydney plays a character [who is] a real nightmare,” he told the audience gathered at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Powell’s character, Sweeney said, is a real “asshole.”
“And what better place to put a nightmare and an asshole than on the other side of the world in the most romantic setting imaginable?” Powell teased of the film.
