An official Friends: The Reunion trailer is here sooner than you think!
HBO Max‘s much-anticipated sneak peak highlights appearances from classic stars like Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer.
As if bringing back the entire OG cast wasn’t exciting enough, the reboot will be set on the iconic Warner Brothers’ Stage 24 in Burbank, just like it was in the 90s.
To engage enthusiastic audiences from around the country, HBO Max is prepared to launch a wide array of celebratory specials. Fans of the cult classic will be able to raise the hype by taking part in show screenings, a watch-along partnership with scener.com, plus some digital & social red carpets.
Ever since coming into the TV scene in 1994, Friends has totally dominated small screens all over. To this day, the comedy show that follows the work and social lives of six New York-based companions remains unforgettable. With some of the highest ratings in TV history and a few Emmy Awards to back it up, it’s really no surprise why all the main cast members were desperate to rekindle their spark.
For many lucky fans, May 26 will feel like walking on Cloud 9 as HBO Max welcomes select guests and fanatics for an exclusive screening in New York and Los Angeles. But wait, there’s no need to worry if you’re not selected as a member! By offering a virtual reunion via scener.com, fans will get the chance to share unique watch party moments from their own couches while simply tweeting #CentralPerkWatchParties.
Another digital and social red carpet is already set for 7:30 p.m. PT on May 26, featuring guest appearances and live moments from NY and L.A. So, this means you should probably get ready to snuggle up in your coziest plaid shirt with some light-wash boyfriend jeans!
Thankfully, the awareness won’t die down after these events come to wrap in late May. Those who wish to keep long-term tabs on any new announcements will be encouraged to follow an upcoming “For Fans Of Friends” spotlight page from May 27 onwards. As stated in the news release, the customized fan page will be populated with Friends-themed galore.
From episode collections to unique curations of top scenes, the page will be designed to liven every die-hard fan’s ultimate fantasies. Our inside scoop reveals collections will include “Best of Rachel,” “The Ones With Celebrity Guest,” along with several other most-watched episodes.
