If true, the rumored fight will take place in Phoenix, Arizona, on October 29, just a few days shy of Halloween. Speaking of Halloween, could it be a rude awakening for the 25-year-old undefeated star? Or will Paul be a frightening sight for Silva and fighting fans around the globe?
A glaring difference in this fight is the fact that there is a 22-year age difference between both men. Paul is 25 years old, while Silva is 47 years old. Could this make a difference? Probably not because Paul has more boxing fights under his belt, but of course, Silva has the edge in terms of experience as an overall fighter due to his long and thriving career as a UFC fighter.
Someone who was asked about this potential battle was UFC President Dana White; White did not have kind words to say about Paul, “stop asking me about Jake Paul, you guys.” Watch this clip posted by Jake Paul on Twitter. (NSFW)
Sounds like an ex who still isn’t able to get over you. Why so angry? Turning red.
To all MMA media…you can ask me anything you want. That’s your job and I respect it. pic.twitter.com/CzLlEhODzy

In the ongoing days after this rumor was reported, there has been some evidence in favor of the fight. For example, Silva has officially been granted a professional boxing license in Arizona. Another example of evidence comes from Donagh Corby of Mirror, which reported that Silva himself confirmed that the fight would be happening through Instagram by responding, “Yes,” to a fan’s comment asking whether the former MMA champion would be taking on the young sensation that is Jake Paul. Further proof of evidence comes from Marcelo Alonso of sherdog.com; Alonso wrote an article about Silva’s boxing coach, Luiz Dorea, confirming the fight. Dorea said,” I just talked to Anderson, he is really motivated to October 29.”
With all that being said, something that you can never take away from Jake Paul is his confidence to go up against anybody. Silva should also be praised for the excellent work ethic that has allowed him such a long and successful career. If this fight takes place, all eyes will be glued to it, whether you are watching it on TV or in person.
