Jeffree Star and best friend Daniel Lucas are currently hospitalized after being involved in a horrible car accident.
Wyoming Highway Patrol Sergeant Jeremy Beck confirmed that at 8:30AM local time on Friday (April 16), a Rolls Royce was driving on Hat Six Road, and “ended up losing control, drove off the roadway and rolled.” Beck said, “There was slush on the roadway up in that area, and that they were “transported to a hospital there in Casper.” Beck later confirmed that Star was the one who was behind the wheel at the time of the accident and both him and Lucas were wearing their seatbelts.
On Friday afternoon (April 16), the 35-year-old beauty mogul’s team released a statement on his Twitter account saying: “A few hours ago Jeffree and Daniel were in a severe car accident and the car flipped 3 times after hitting black ice. We will update you all when the doctor gives us more info. So thankful they are both alive.” Alongside the tweet was a photo of Jeffree in a neck brace with Daniel holding hands by his bedside.

A representative from the Wyoming Medical Center, where Star is currently being treated, told Insider that he is in “stable condition.”
A few hours later, Star shared an update on his Twitter and Instagram writing, “This morning was one of the scariest moments of our entire lives. I’m so grateful to be here still. I’m in excruciating pain because part of my back is broken and I have vertebrae fractures on my spine. My doctor said it will take a few months but I should make a full recovery.”

Star’s friend, Daniel Lucas, who was also involved in the accident, is currently being treated at the hospital as well. Star shared an update on Lucas saying, “My best friend Daniel has internal injuries and because he has survived colon cancer three times, he’s having complications with his organs and they’re monitoring him 24/7. We’ll know more soon. Thank you to every single person checking on us 💯.”

According to Dirt, Star has been spending more time in Wyoming after purchasing a 70-acre ranch in Casper.
