The cast of Marvel Studios‘ newest series, Hawkeye hit the red carpet at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre to celebrate the show’s upcoming premiere. Guests screened the first two episodes that launch Wednesday, November 24 on Disney+.
Co-stars Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld had all eyes on them on the red carpet, as Renner donned a velvet suit and Steinfeld stunned in a bold two piece while showing off her toned tummy.
Additionally, Vera Farmiga, Tony Dalton, Alaqua Cox, Fra Fee, Brian d’Arcy James, Aleks Paunovic, Piotr Adamcz
yk, Clayton English, Carlos Navarro, Adetinpo Thomas, Robert Walker-Branchaud and Adelle Drahosand were in attendance for the special night, along with directors Rhys Thomas and Bert and Bertie.
Hawkeye is an original new series set in New York City post-blip (after Avengers: Endgame) where former Avenger – Clint Barton aka Hawkeye (Renner) – has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. But when a threat from his past shows up, Hawkeye reluctantly teams up with Kate Bishop (Steinfeld), a 22-year-old skilled archer and his biggest fan, to unravel a criminal conspiracy.
The actor explains the major impact that the relationship between characters Clint and Katie has on the show. “The intersection of those two characters becomes, really, the big base of what this show is about,” Renner says. “I begrudgingly have her as a partner, if you will. And then our friendship grows.”
In the newest featurette, we can see the archery duo partaking in Christmas shenanigans, shooting down buildings, fighting bad guys and exploding cars. The actress reveals that fans have many surprises coming for them. “It’s been such a wild ride,” Steinfeld says. “You have no idea. This is literally just the bare bones of what this is gonna be.”
