JoJo Siwa and Candace Cameron Bure Have Settled Their Beef

All is well between internet sensation JoJo Siwa and Fuller House star Candace Cameron Bure.

In a TikTok video posted earlier this week, Siwa revealed that Bure was the “rudest celebrity she has met.” In the video, Siwa flashed a photo of Bure to the camera where she labeled her “rudest celebrity,” but never explained why she felt this way.

Well, today (July 27), Bure officially addressed the situation on Instagram. Bure explained that she was “shocked” when JoJo posted the TikTok.

The Full House star shared, “I immediately tried to reach out to her through mutual friends, and my publicist contacted her manager, and I DM’d her because I didn’t know what happened – I didn’t know!”

Bure explained that she was finally able to get into contact with Siwa this morning.

Siwa reportedly asked Bure how she was doing. The 46-year-old responded, “Well I’ve been better, what happened.” The former Dance Moms star then told her how she never thought the video would go viral and called the video a “silly TikTok trend.”

Bure shared her confusion as she told Siwa, “Because I only remember that we met at The Kelly Clarkson Show, and that went really great.” JoJo reportedly agreed with Bure and revealed how silly she felt about the reason why she labeled her as the “rudest celebrity she met.”

Bure shared, “She said, ‘I met you at the Fuller House premiere when I was 11 years old, and we were all on the red carpet. I had come up to you and said, ‘Can I have a picture with you?’ and you told me, ‘Not right now.’ And then proceeded to do what you were doing and take pictures with other people on the red carpet.’”

Bure understood where Siwa was coming from. She told  her, “I kind of broke your 11-year-old heart, I didn’t take a picture with you!”

She continued to tell Siwa how “crummy” she felt about not taking the photo. However, in the end, the two overcame the awkward situation and were able to move past it. Bure ended the video with a message to her followers, sharing the power that our words and actions have on other people.
