Karol G Makes Stunning Coachella Debut with Impressive Performance During Weekend 1

Karol G can officially check off performing at Coachella on her bucket list!

The Latin GRAMMY Award-winning singer/songwriter conveyed the best of her talents on the main stage during weekend one of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival on Sunday (April 17) at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA.

On a lineup featuring artists like Billie Eilish, Daniel Caesar, Doja Cat, Harry Styles, Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, Swedish House Mafia, and The Weeknd, Karol G was greeted with a warm welcome from spectators who euphorically danced to the beat of her songs.

The stage transported fans to the streets of a Latin neighborhood, which was created as an homage to Latin culture with traditional instruments of Latin music.  The artist not only raised the energy at the festival, but she also connected with everyone attending the event.

As part of her tribute to Latin culture, Karol G performed her biggest hits, such as “El Makinón,” “Mi Cama,” “Bichota,” and “Ahora Me Llama,” as well as “El Barco” and “200 Copas.”  She also presented some of the most iconic classics in Latin music such as, “La Bamba,” “Como La Flor,” “Maria,” “Macarena,” “La Vida Es Un Carnaval,” “Gasolina,” “Hips Don’t Lie,” “Despacito” and “Mi Gente.”

Karol G kept the energy high as she welcomed two special guests during her set — the first was Tiesto to perform their hit “Don’t Be Shy,” followed by Becky G who joined the Bichota on stage to perform their smash hit “MAMII.”

Karol G closed her set with her breakthrough single “Tusa,” and the whole crowd roared with excitement as they danced along to the Latin tune.
