The people are speaking once again!
Earlier today (October 26), NBC and E! revealed that the 2022 People’s Choice Awards are back and in-person this year, airing on Tuesday, December 6 from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA.
Additionally, the networks shared that actor and comedian Kenan Thompson is returning for the second consecutive year to emcee the event, as well as the star-studded nominees for this year’s big show.
“I’m beyond excited to host the People’s Choice Awards again this year and celebrate the incredible talent and fans that this show unites,” Thompson said in a statement. “I’m so grateful to be nominated—shoutout to the fans and congrats to all the nominees. Get ready for round two!”
In case you didn’t know already, there are 40 categories across TV, movies, music and pop culture — and film icons like Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez, Dwayne Johnson and Viola Davis, television stars Selena Gomez, Sterling K. Brown, Ellen Pompeo and Quinta Brunson, chart-topping hitmakers Harry Styles, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, BTS and Bad Bunny and social media sensations like Addison Rae and Charli D’Amelio are all up for awards (you can view the full list below).
Voting is now open on the official PCAs site here, so don’t forget to cast yours to make sure that your favorite celeb wins the award they deserve.
