Darren Criss’ independent alt-pop band Computer Games released its debut EP today entitled Lost Boys Life EP, which features 4 songs written by frontman Darren and his brother Chuck Criss (from indie-pop band Freelance Whales), produced by The Elev3n (Bebe Rexha, Meghan Trainor, Betty Who) in collaboration with the Criss brothers, and mixed by Tony Hoffer (Phoenix, Beck, M83).
By combining the sounds of the 1980s with the brothers’ love of contemporary pop production, Lost Boys Life EP explores the journey of trying to maintain boyhood ideologies while navigating the throes of adulthood.
With its eclectic instrumentation, explosive rhythms, and juicy harmonies, the EP’s lead track “Every Single Night†unapologetically summons the spirit of the great dance records of Miami Sound Machine, Lionel Richie, Peter Gabriel, and Phil Collins. Listen to the full EP below:
Computer Games made their official public appearance at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 5 in Los Angeles.
