Mavs Owner Mark Cuban Roasts Lil Wayne Over Luka Dončić Jab

Billionaire and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has roasted Lil Wayne.

The rapper took a shot on Twitter at Luka Dončić following Game 4 of the NBA playoffs between the Mavs and Phoenix Suns. “Luka a ho,” Wayne tweeted after Dončić led the Mavs to a victory over the Suns in that game, 111-101, with Dončić scoring 26 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds.

But a few days later, Wayne’s words would come back to bite him. Sitting courtside during the crucial Game 7 in Phoenix, Wayne watched as the Suns were annihilated by Dončić and the Mavs, blowing Phoenix out 123-90. Mavs owner Mark Cuban took to Twitter to roast Wayne using lyrics from the rapper’s song “Uproar.”

“It’s a shit show, put you front row,” Cuban tweeted in a quote-tweet of Wayne’s initial tweet. While Wayne’s initial tweet received over 84,000 likes as of Tuesday evening, Cuban’s tweet has garnered over 117,000 likes as of the same period. Thus, Cuban has effectively ‘ratioed’ Wayne.

Dončić has been known to exhibit a fiery personality both on and off the court, taking no nonsense. Earlier in the NBA playoffs, he chewed out a heckling fan to the point where team officials had to restrain him, holding him back from his own anger. Now, Dončić was able to prove his worth without anger, by beating his opponents on the court, and was granted the defense by his team owner.
