Pro boxer Mike Tyson had a violent encounter with an unruly passenger on a flight on Wednesday.
Video footage shows the 55-year-old former boxer losing his cool with a fellow passenger onboard a JetBlue flight, bound from San Francisco to Florida. Prior to the plane’s departure, at around 10:30 p.m. PST, Tyson can be seen repeatedly punching the man, causing the man to bleed from the right side of his head.
Apparently, the passenger, who was seated next to Tyson, was initially cool with the boxer, and even posed for selfies with him. But things took a turn for the worse after the passenger, who was reported to be “extremely intoxicated”, wouldn’t stop agitating and provoking Tyson, which led to him snapping.

Don’t poke the bear. Especially when the bear is Mike Tyson.

“Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him, and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat,” Tyson’s representatives said.
“My boy just got beat up by Mike Tyson,” another passenger said. “Yeah, he got f**ked up.”
The passenger continued to provoke and harass Tyson, which included him even throwing a water bottle at the boxing legend, as mentioned. Following the fight, Tyson walked off the plane. The passenger is said to have gone to the police, but at this point, no charges have yet been filed.
