There’s no better way to launch a product than with an epic party, and Ashley HomeStore did just that!
Taking over Goya Studios in the heart of Hollywood last Saturday (October 5), the furniture company teamed up with streaming service Pandora and GRAMMY Award-winning singer Ne-Yo to unveil their new “Urbanology” collection by letting the invite-only guest list see the products first hand before being treated to an epic concert from the multi-talented performer.

Upon arrival, guests (including us!) walked into a total Insta-worthy space filled with activations that featured pieces from the collection that the brand describes as “mid-century modern meets boho meets global.” The four activations included a living room, a dining room filled with donuts and a custom coaster maker, a den with Dance Dance Revolution and a bedroom with a cheeky photo booth.
Coming out to a packed crowd, Ne-Yo worked the outdoor stage by pairing all of his hits with his iconic sexy dance moves. The GRAMMY Award-winning performer made sure to keep the hour-long set stacked with feel-good anthems and steamy ballads, as he sang tracks like “Let’s Go” “So Sick,” “Miss Independent,” “She Knows,” “Because of You,” “Closer,” “Sexy Love” and “Mad.”

In addition, Ne-Yo engaged with the audience by bringing up select members up for a “dance off” along with killer covers of Mario’s “Let Me Love You,” and Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable” — both of which he wrote for each artist — before closing the night out with “Give Me Everything.”
