New Music Friday (Country Edition): Cole Swindell Issues New Love Song “Forever To Me” & More – April 12, 2024

Another week down means more music for our country playlists, and today’s is just that good.

Cole Swindell is officially in his lover era, as the newly engaged country star dropped his latest offering “Forever To Me” earlier today (April 12).

Taking to social media, Swindell shared in a post, “‘She gave her heart to Jesus, and He gave her to me” Forever to Me is out now. This one means a lot. Thanks to Greylan James & Rocky Block for hopping on that last minute bus run to Texas and writing this one with me. Also to Greylan & Jordan Schmidt for getting it just right.”

Swindell has spent the last week sharing snippets of the new romantic ballad as he gets ready to marry his fiancée Courtney Little who has expressed her excitement for the song by sharing, “CAN WE RELEASE THIS ALREADY.”

One of our favorite country singers, Ernest also dropped his sophomore album, Nashville, Tennessee today. The highly-anticipated Big Loud record contains star-studded collaborations with more of our favorites – Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, and Lukas Nelson.

Earlier in the week, Ernest poked fun at his best buddy and labelmate Morgan Wallen, who is featured on Nashville, Tennessee’s fifth track “Hangin’ On,” after Morgan was arrested for throwing a chair off the roof at Eric Church’s bar Chief’s.

Ernest posted a video on Instagram with the caption, “Alexa, play ‘The Chair’ by George Strait,” with the text “When Morgan asks me if I wanna go to Broadway…” displayed on the post coupled with a lyric taken from his newest duet with Lainey Wilson, “I Would If I Could.” My oh my.
