It’s another big day in the world of country music and we are so excited to share our new favorites.
Morgan Wallen has finally released his first tasting of his forthcoming album, “Love Somebody” after posting teasers and glimpses over the last few weeks.
Sonically, it’s setting the singer off into a different direction which leaves Wallen excited, he says.
“‘Love Somebody’ is a little bit of a new approach lyrically and sonically. I wanted to try something different, with what I wanted to talk about, how I wanted it to sound, and we were inspired by Latin-leaning influences. I’m really excited about this song and pumped that it is out.”
Morgan also dropped other very exciting news this week — he’s partnered with AEG Presents to bring the three-day Sand in My Boots Festival on May 16-18, 2025 in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Get your tickets here.
We are also super stoked about Riley Green’s third studio album release, Don’t Mind If I Do. The 18-track project came out today (October 18) on his birthday no less, and is home to his latest hit duet “You Look Like You Love Me” with Ella Langley.
“It feels fitting that this album is out on my birthday, because this project feels very true to who I am, where I come from and what I’ve learned along the way. I learned to play guitar to my granddaddy’s favorite country songs from back in the day, and this new album is a throwback to the era when I first became a fan.”
There are a few other albums that we’re spinning this week, including Wyatt Flores’ Welcome To The Plains, Midland’s Barely Blue (Deluxe), Dan + Shay’s It’s Officially Christmas: The Double Album, Tiera Kennedy’s Rooted, BRELAND’s Project 2024, Benjamin Tod’s Shooting Star and Noeline Hofmann’s Purple Gas.
Other artists that have released brand new albums and songs this week include Warren Zeiders, The Castellows, Kip Moore, Dasha, Blanco Brown, Chase McDaniel, Ward Thomas, Stephen Day, Alana Springsteen, Hunter Hayes, Caylee Hammack, Mary Sarah, Ashley Ryan, Jameson Rogers, Hudson Westbrook, Max McNown, Harper Grace, Jordana Bryant, Karley Scott Collins, Ty Myers, Jordan Rowe, Maddox Batson, Colt Graves, HALIE, Riley Roth and Hayden Coffman; with brand new collaborations from MacKenzie Porter and Owen Reigling, Scotty Hasting, Lee Brice and Dolly Parton and Tanner Adell, Clean Bandit and Anne-Marie.
