As always, we’ll be sharing with you our favorite Korean music releases of the week ranging from K-Pop, K-R&B, K-Rap, and lots more. Rest assured, all of these will be bops because we don’t do skips around here.
After nearly two years since their last full album, ASTRO is back and gave us All Yours–an album full of songs that we’ll be playing on repeat for the next week. You can read all our thoughts about the album here.
Along with ASTRO’s comeback, we were also blessed with a solo debut from Red Velvet‘s WENDY with her mini-album release, Like Water. The album showcases a different side of WENDY that some fans may be surprised to hear and is filled with songs that hopefully bring a lot of comfort to listeners.
“It’s my first solo album since my debut, so I’m not hoping for too much. I just want to share comfort and emotion with many people through my voice,” WENDY shared in a press release. “I hope that I can become an artist that many people relate to. I’ll sing with a happy heart for the people who waited for me for a long time, so please look forward to it.”
This week also found a ton of releases from some of our favorite groups and soloists; including EXO‘s CHANYEOL, HENRY, Amber Liu, and YUKIKA; with new comebacks from BAE173, STAYC, D-CRUNCH; and new releases from BLACKPINK‘s Rosé and SuperM.
