It’s MDW!
We’ve made it through yet another week in quarantine and besides the fact that it’s the official kickoff to summer, the only thing that is keeping us ~somewhat~ sane is all the new (and killer) music that dropped today.
You definitely saw this coming… Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande are topping our New Music Friday playlist this week with their duet of the decade. Featured on her upcoming record Chromatica, the pop queens embrace pain as a marker of humanity on the disco-inspired diva track.
Other buzzworthy singles this week come from Nick Jonas, Sia, Jesse McCartney, and Ellie Goulding, while The 1975 dropped their 22-track album Notes On A Conditional Form that’s 100% worth listening to cover to cover. The Weeknd and Doja Cat also teamed up for a mind-blowing remix of “In Your Eyes,” and news flash — we can’t. stop. listening.
For newcomers, Carson Lueders shares “Young And Free” and Kyle returns with a soon-to-be smash “It Is What It Is,” while country trio Honey County brings the Shania vibes with their country pop tune “Woke Up Tired.”
Keep scrolling to see our picks and let us know what you think of them by either leaving a reaction at the bottom of the post or by sending us a tweet at @celebsecrets.
