There may only be three more Fridays 2020 is over, but the good music that’s coming from our favorite artists is nowhere in sight.
We’ve been waiting for December 4th for a really long time, as Shawn Mendes‘ fourth studio album Wonder — his first in nearly two years — is finally here and topping our New Music Friday playlist this week. Drawing from his romance with Camila Cabello, the full-length project features top notch production and chantable lyrics with love songs that will keep it on loop for days.
Even more earworms earned high placement on our playlist this afternoon — The Weeknd and Rosalía‘s “Blinding Lights” remix; Lil Baby‘s “Errbody;” 24kGoldn and Da Baby‘s “Coco;” All Time Low, Demi Lovato and blackbear‘s “Monsters” remix; YUNGBLUD and Machine Gun Kelly‘s “acting like that;” Juice WRLD and Benny Blanco‘s “Real S–t;” and CNCO‘s “Hero” — with other buzzworthy songs coming from emerging artists like PUBLIC, YDE, Adam Cola and Dylan Bernard.
‘With Christmas only 21 days away, stars like Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson just dropped the song of the season with “Oh Santa!,” with Dolly Parton dropping yet another stunning song “I Still Believe.” Newcomer Carolyn Miller also released her own version of the holiday classic “Mary, Did You Know?.”
