The Seattle Seahawks have been one of the best feel-good stories of the season as the Pete Carroll-led squad has taken the league by storm just months after trading away long-time signal-caller Russell Wilson.
The Seahawks are set to kick off week fifteen of the NFL season by hosting one of the top Super Bowl contenders and fellow AFC West team, the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football.

The 49ers come into this primetime division battle with rookie Brock Purdy making his second career start and third overall appearance of the season at the quarterback position; as of now, Purdy has looked great, as the last pick of the 2022 NFL Draft currently has a 2-0 record after beating Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins followed by a victory over Tom Brady and the Bucs; Purdy has thrown for 395 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception thus far.
This week, Purdy and the Niners will be going up against an inconsistent Seahawks defensive unit, but with that said, when the Hawks turn it on defensively, they are hard to score on.
As for the Seahawks offense in this one, they are led by rookie running back Kenneth Walker III, who has had a tremendous rookie season as he is currently tied for the fifth most touchdowns at the running back position with nine to go along with being tied for the fifth most rushes of twenty or more yards; the Michigan State product came into his rookie season with an injury followed by being a backup to Rashad Penny, but when Penny went down with an injury several weeks ago, Walker III received the opportunity of being the RB1, and he has taken full advantage by showcasing what he can do on the football field.
It’s fascinating to be heading into a primetime game filled with multiple storylines led by rookies, as Walker III and Purdy may very well be two key members of the National Football League for years and years to come.
As for some predictions, we believe the Seahawks will pick up a big division win with a final score of 23-21. We also believe Kenneth Walker III and Christian McCaffrey will each have a touchdown in the game.
