YouTube kicks off the new year with a major bang as it expands its presence at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival!
Anchored by the world premiere of This Is Everything: Gigi Gorgeous (the first ever YouTube Red Original film to premiere at the Festival), the 6-day event is not one to miss!
Things kicked off Thursday (January 19) with the Official 2017 Sundance Film Festival Shorts Director Reception. On Friday (January 20), Made You Look: Storytelling in VR showed how they’re providing new ways for filmmakers & creators alike to connect with their loyal fans.
Kehlani wrapped up the fun with her energetic performance on Saturday (January 21), followed by Nick Cannon‘s mad DJing skills at the YouTube House on Sunday (January 22nd). The event will close out on Tuesday (January 24) with the world premiere of This Is Everything: Gigi Gorgeous (invites only).
From January 19-24, The YouTube House will be open to festival goers looking to have a good time. Some events are public and some for invitees only (Check the current schedule here).
YouTube is also slated to present the 2017 Sundance Film Festival Short Awards on January 24, 2017 which will be live streamed on www.sundance.org.
