It feels in character that Lucas Grabeel ventured into the music world but was overshadowed by his onscreen sister. Though we loved him as Ryan Evans, Grabeel never made a huge mark in the music world.

He released a few singles including “You Got It,” which can be briefly heard in High School Musical 2. He also appeared on a number of Disney music projects like the soundtrack for The Fox and the Hound 2, Disneymania 5 and Disney Channel Holiday.

Alongside Drew Seeley, Gabreel also starred in the rock musical I Kissed a Vampire, which was released exclusively on iTunes in 2009.

Grabeel also made an appearance as himself in season one of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and sang “Role of a Lifetime” alongside Kate Reinders as Miss Jenn.
