Zac Efron as Troy Bolton
Our favorite athlete/theater geek proved his vocal chops after the original film where his vocals were dubbed by Drew Seeley. Zac Efron went on to sing in the second two High School Musical movies and as Link Larkin for the 2008 film Hairspray alongside John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer and Queen Latifah.
Efron left singing behind for a number of years until he returned to the movie musical world in 2018 with The Greatest Showman. His song “Rewrite the Stars” with Zendaya reached number 70 on the Billboard Hot 100, while “The Greatest Show” with Hugh Jackman, Keala Settle and Zendaya reached number 88.
