It’s been a year since we were able to catch up with the cast members of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and it’s safe to say that so much has changed since season nine.
The one thing that hasn’t changed? The DRAMA! After watching the super trailer for the upcoming season, we can confirm that these new episodes are packed with navigating relationships, career development, and family dynamics, along with three new badass ladies that are tapped to be some of the biggest rappers in the game.
In this season, Love & Hip Hop: New York’s Yandy Smith has moved to Atlanta with her husband Mendeecees. Viewers get to see their marriage take a turn for the best as the show follows them renewing their wedding vows. There will also be some new cast members added to the list of things in store for season 10. Fans will be introduced to Omeretta the Great, Yung Baby Tate, and Renni Rucci as they launch their rap careers.
Kirk Frost says this is the time for women to make a name for themselves in the world of hip-hop.
“I feel like hip-hop has gotten a lot better with accepting females. I feel like the women are starting to be able to get a little more shine, and you don’t have to do all the groundwork that you used to have to do,” he tells Celeb Secrets in an exclusive interview.
Rasheeda and Kirk, who have been mainstays with the LHH franchise since it first premiered in 2012, say the mixture of the old and new faces will make the season worthwhile to watch.
“This season you’ll get to see what’s going on a lot more internally with people,” says Rasheeda, “In family issues and things like that, [you’ll be] introduced to family members and different people that are in peoples lives that you didn’t even know maybe even existed!”

Rasheeda and Kirk Frost are also celebrating over 20 years of marriage this season. LHH fans have definitely seen the ups and downs of their relationship, however, their perseverance through each obstacle has allowed them to garner a reputation as one of the strongest current couples in the hip-hop industry.
‘’You need certain things to happen in order to realize what you have,” says Kirk, “and it’s also a learning experience.
