It’s official, the music drought from Selena Gomez may be ending soon, because the singer is back in the studio recording music. It’s been about three years since the Grammy nominated singer released new music and the anticipation is already in the air.
Gomez recently posted an instagram photo of herself inside a recording studio in Paris, with the caption “don’t worry guys, it’s coming. Even from Paris”

Fans instantly went into the comments expressing their excitement, and even went as far as addressing Gomez as the “QUEEN” herself – and can you blame them!?
Gomez took a pause on music and has instead been focusing on her cosmetic company “Rare Beauty”. Gomez released her last full album Rare which charted at No.1 in 2020 on the Billboard Top 200. The album featured the hit songs “Look At Her Now” and “Loose You to Love Me” and also featured artist like 6lack and Kid Cudi.
In 2021 she then surprised fans with a small Spanish-Language EP Revelación, which ended up being nominated for Best Latin pop album at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
Since the brief music hiatus, the super star has been featured on many songs including Rema’s “Calm Down” which already seems to be in many fans’ music rotation since its release.
There is no confirmation that a whole new album is being released as of yet, but expectations are in the air that a 4th one could be happening soon. Either way, new music from the Queen Selena is on its way and we can’t wait to add those new songs to our playlists!
