We’re less than a month away from the season three premiere of Only Murders In The Building, and Selena Gomez is giving us a first look at what we can expect from the wildly popular series.
Gomez, who both stars and executive produces, shared to her Instagram page of 426 million followers a video of her and Meryl Streep wearing their on-set wardrobe telling viewers to “Get Ready for Season 3 of Only Murders in the Building.” Streep questions the release date of “August 8th” ending with Selena laughing over her uncertainty. Gomez captions the photo saying, “REMINDER: AUGUST 8TH On @hulu !!!!! 😆😫”

To catch you up, Only Murder’s in the Building follows three strangers (played by Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Gomez) who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a grisly death occurs in their Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspects murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth.
As they record a podcast of their own to document the case, the three unravel the complex secrets of the building which stretched back years. Perhaps even more explosive are the lies they tell one another. Soon, the endangered trio comes to realize that a killer might be living amongst them as they race to decipher the mounting clues before it’s too late.
Without giving too much away, season two ended with the reveal that Ben Glenroy, played by Paul Rudd, will be the one who gets murdered, so fans cannot wait to find out who did this heinous crime. We know our trio will be back doing their podcast at the Arconia to try and solve the murder of Ben, however, could it be an inside job this time, or could newly confirmed cast member Meryl Streep be the murderer? You’ll have to tune into season three when it premieres on Tuesday, August 8th on Hulu.
