Leave it to Karol G to bring some Latin flare to the VMAs.
The 33-year-old Colombian superstar returned to the stage for an unforgettable performance of her song “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” at the 2024 MTV VMAs, which was held at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York on Wednesday (September 11).
But before she made her way to perform her latest smash hit, the reggaeton artist hit the red carpet in a white collared maxi dress that featured a bold flame print, once again proving that she’s the hottest “Bichota” there is.
Ditching the outfit for the big moment, Karol G changed into a beige bikini top, low-rise cowhide pants, pointed yellow croc-embossed heels and a brown suede belt, showing off her incredible figure as she transported everyone both in the audience and watching at home onto what felt like the shores of her native Colombia thanks to a vibrant beachside set decorated with not only the Colombian flag, but flags from nations all across Latin America.
Representing the beauty of what Latin music has to offer to the main stage, the award-winning performer danced to her merengue-infused song as she made her way through the crowd, rubbing shoulders with celebrities in attendance such as Camila Cabello, Post Malone, and Taylor Swift. Having an absolute blast and dancing away, Karol even shouted “Dale!” to Tay Tay during her performance.
Tonight’s performance marked the second time the 33-year-old has performed at the MTV VMAs, with her first being last year when she performed her songs “Oki Doki” and “Tá OK (Remix).” The “Qlona” singer also won her first moon person award in 2023 for Best Collaboration and is up for Best Latin for her song “Mi Ex Tenía Razón” at the show tonight.
