Taylor Swift is officially one of the most awarded artists in VMAs history.
The 34-year-old superstar added 7 moon person awards to her collection at the 2024 MTV VMAs on Wednesday (September 11) for her song “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone. She ties Beyoncé with the prestigious honor — 30 VMA wins — and led the pack with a total of 12 nominations this year.
Other notable winners throughout the night were Eminem, who added two more wins to his name, making him the most-awarded male artist in VMA history, while Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan took home their first-ever awards in the Song of the Year and New Artist of the Year categories, respectively. SZA, Lenny Kravitz, Anitta, Blackpink‘s Lisa and Tyla also won awards, with Katy Perry receiving the Video Vanguard Award from her fiancé Orlando Bloom.
The 2024 MTV VMAs aired LIVE from the UBS Arena in Elmont, NY and were hosted by Megan Thee Stallion, who also performed at the big show. Other artists who took the stage included Anitta (featuring Fat Joe, DJ Khaled and Tiago PZK), Eminem, LL Cool J, Benson Boone, Camila Cabello, Chappell Roan, GloRilla, Halsey, Lenny Kravitz (with Quavo and Doechii), Karol G, Blackpink’s Lisa, Rauw Alejandro, Shawn Mendes and Sabrina Carpenter.
