The biggest names in Hollywood are coming together for tonight to celebrate this year’s most memorable and best in film for the most iconic award show in history — the 97th Oscars.
Taking place at the Dolby Theatre in the heart of Hollywood, California tonight (March 2), the official kick-off event for The Oscars has a star-studded lineup of nominees, performers and presenters who are posing for photos and chatting with press in killer looks before the big show.
Julianne Hough and Jesse Palmer will kick off the evening by welcoming a steady stream of Hollywood’s biggest names as they hit The Oscars® Red Carpet Show, ahead of the big event. The event will highlight nominees, performers and presenters and provide a multi-view experience of the red carpet arrivals, giving the audience every can’t-miss moment from Hollywood’s biggest celebration.
Leading the pack in overall Oscar nominations is Netflix‘s Emilia Pérez, which is up for a whopping 13 awards this year, including “Best Picture.” The Brutalist, Wicked, The Substance, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Anora, Dune: Part Two, Nickel Boys and I’m Still Here are also up for “Best Picture” this year, with Adrien Brody (The Brutalist), Timothée Chalamet (A Complete Unknown), Colman Domingo (Sing Sing), Ralph Fiennes (Conclave) and Sebastian Stan (The Apprentice) up for “Best Actor” while Cynthia Erivo (Wicked), Karla Sofía Gascón (Emilia Pérez), Mikey Madison (Anora), Demi Moore (The Substance) and Fernanda Torres (I’m Still Here) are up for “Best Actress.”
The 97th Oscars will feature epic performances from Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, Doja Cat, Blackpink‘s LISA, Queen Latifah and RAYE with appearances from Joe Alwyn, Halle Berry, Sterling K. Brown, Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Ana de Armas, Lily-Rose Depp, Robert Downey Jr., Elle Fanning, Whoopi Goldberg, Selena Gomez, Goldie Hawn, Scarlett Johansson, John Lithgow, Cillian Murphy, Connie Nielsen, Amy Poehler, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, June Squibb, Ben Stiller, Emma Stone, Oprah Winfrey, Dave Bautista, Gal Gadot, Andrew Garfield, Samuel L. Jackson, Margaret Qualley, Alba Rohrwacher, Zoe Saldaña and Rachel Zegler, who will be hitting the stage tonight to present a shiny new piece of hardware to each winner.
